Flight Control Engineers

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • In-depth understanding of flight control, linear control systems, preferably with experience related to multirotors and fixed-wing aircrafts
  • Knowledge of estimation theory, in particular of Complementary filters and Extended Kalman filters
  • Experience in working with Python for control design development and simulation
  • Experience in programming with C/C++, preferably for embedded systems
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Passion for all things that fly

Aeronautical Engineer

  • Minimum of 7 years of  industrial experience in aircraft aerodynamic design and flight performance analysis.
  • Extensive knowledge of using adjoint based algorithms to perform aerodynamic design optimization.
  • Solid knowledge of laminar-to-turbulent flow transition prediction analysis, both theoretical and computational. Wind tunnel proven result is a plus.
  • Understanding of the numerical methods for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
  • Excellent language skills in English and Chinese is a prerequisite. Skill in local Taiwanese language would be an asset. (this is for communicating with Taiwan local suppliers)
  • Prior experience with industrial CFD packages like Fluent, Gridgen, MGAERO, and modeFrontier.
  • Experiences in programming with Fortran 90, C++, Python, Matlab, and MPI.
  • A master degree in aerospace engineering focusing on aerodynamics and optimization is a prerequisite. PhD prefered.
